The technical conference and exhibits will be held Friday, November 21st at the Maritime Conference Center in Linthicum Heights, MD. Registration for the Technical Conference & Exhibit includes admission to the technical sessions and exhibits, continental breakfast, all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, afternoon break, and happy hour with hors d’oeuvres and drinks.

Early Registration closes on Friday, October 24, 2025.

Keynote Speakers

Keynote speakers will include:

• Regional State Roundtable – TMC Operation of Traffic Signals

Over the course of the day, attendees will have the opportunity to network and attend technical sessions. Exhibitors will present the latest in ITS technology during an exhibitor lightning round and will be available for additional information and discussion at their booths throughout the day. PDHs for the sessions will be available.

Who Should Attend?

Anyone involved in transportation! The challenges lie in the diversity of the technology, which is highly interdisciplinary, ranging from physics to psychology. The ITS field includes a wide variety of professionals including web developers; information processing; vehicle manufacturers; trucking and delivery companies; transportation planners; technicians; researchers; engineers in communications, control, and electronics.

The 2025 ITS Maryland Annual Meeting and BTRB Regional Traffic Signal Forum is a venue for professionals involved in planning, design, research, and implementation of Traffic Signals and Intelligent Transportation Systems to gather together for training, discussion, and networking.

How Many Professional Development Hours (PDHs) May I Earn?

Up to six (6) Professional Development Hours (PDHs) will be awarded for attending the entire duration of the conference technical sessions which run from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Partial PDHs will be awarded for each contact hour attended.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There is free parking at the Maritime Conference Center. See Maritime Conference Center Directions for directions. The conference center offers a free shuttle service to/from the Baltimore – Washington International (BWI) Thurgood Marshall Airport and the BWI Business District Station. Upon arrival at these locations, contact the conference center front desk staff at (410) 859-5700, extension “0,” to make transportation arrangements.

How do I reserve Exhibitor space and what’s included?

Sign up through the ticket section and contact Jim Lampe at lampe@cttraffic.com for additional details. Exhibitor space includes a desk and access to a wide variety of traffic and ITS professionals.

What if I want to sponsor the conference?

Sponsorship can be purchased as a “ticket” on the website. Each organization who sponsors the event will receive two or more complimentary registrations, as specified on the website.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay?

Yes.

What should I wear?

Participants are encouraged to wear business casual attire. Remember that this is also a networking event, so look your best!

Can I pay by check?

Yes! Make checks payable to “ITS Maryland” and mail them to ITS Maryland c/o Baltimore Metropolitan Council, 1500 Whetstone Way, Suite 300, Baltimore MD 21230.
